Our beliefs

Standing on
the Word of God.

Our confession of faith — the biblical convictions that shape our worship, our community and our lives.

01Confession of faith

What we believe.

  1. 01

One God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

    Deuteronomy 6:4 · Matthew 28:19 · 2 Corinthians 13:14

  2. 02

The Bible, the Inspired Word of God

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the authoritative foundation for faith and Christian living.

    2 Timothy 3:16–17 · 2 Peter 1:20–21

  3. 03

    Water Baptism

We believe in water baptism as an act of obedience, publicly identifying the believer with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

    Matthew 28:19 · Acts 2:38 · Romans 6:3–4

  4. 04

    Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, with speaking in tongues as its evidence, empowering believers for life and witness.

    Acts 1:8 · Acts 2:4 · Acts 10:44–46 · Acts 19:6

  5. 05

The Rapture and Return of Jesus Christ

We believe in the rapture of the Church and the personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

    John 14:3 · Acts 1:11 · 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

  6. 06

    Holy Communion

We believe in Holy Communion, in which believers remember the Lord's death and proclaim it until He comes.

    Luke 22:19–20 · 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

  7. 07

    The Resurrection after Death

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, as Christ Himself was raised from the dead.

    John 5:28–29 · 1 Corinthians 15:20–22, 51–52

  8. 08

    Eternal Judgment

We believe in eternal judgment, when every person will stand before God.

    Hebrews 6:2 · Hebrews 9:27 · Revelation 20:11–15

Declaration of faith

I am a Living Stone

  1. 01

I believe in Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Saviour.

  2. 02

I will always come closer to Him to discover my true identity in order to live fully my life by serving God through the community.

  3. 03

My purpose is to increase my knowledge of Jesus Christ in order to serve my neighbour.

  4. 04

I will always pursue integrity, dedication, excellence, positive attitude and teamwork.

  5. 05

I will never have a negative confession about my life and my church, for I am what the Bible says that I am and not what people say that I am.

  6. 06

I am able to do what the Bible declares, because I can do all things through Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour.

  7. 07

With God I will do mighty things. With God I will succeed, for I am a living stone created to succeed.

  8. 08

Nobody will trample me down. Far from me confusion, shame, disgrace, scandal and failure, in Jesus Christ's name.
